Mogadishu – (warsoor) – Parliamentary Commission for the election of the speaker and his deputies on Tuesday started registering candidates who are going to hold the positions, SONNA reported.
The registration will continue until next Thursday according to the commission.
Members of the Somali Federal Parliament of both lower and upper houses were on 27th November Sworn and had two interim chairing persons.
The election of the Speakers are expected to be held on either 11 or 12th January according to the officials.
