Mogadishu – (warsoor) – The President of the federal republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud and the Speaker of the Somali National Assembly Mohamed Osman Jawari have jointly endorsed the percentage allocated for the female in the Upper and Lower House in the forthcoming election in the country.
The two senior government officials had meeting with the Somali female members of Parliament and women in the civil societies at the State House on Sunday.
In the meeting the two officials have unanimously endorsed the 30% percent allocated for the female in the next election in the country.
In the conclusion of the meeting the President and the Speaker have urged the female to unite in making their political ambition and as well have their role in the national discussions and rebuilding of the nation.
