Hargeisa – (warsoor) – A presidential decree was congratulated to president-elect of France by Somaliland president H.E. Ahmed Mohamed.
A press release from Somaliland presidential palace circulated to Somaliland media was written:
“Your Excellency, On behalf of the Somaliland Government and its people, I wish to extend to you our heartfelt congratulations on your election as the president of French Republic.
Your election demonstrates the confidence that the French people have in your leadership. It is my hope that during your term in office, we shall continue to work together towards strengthening the friendly relations between our two nations. Within the region, we will continue to enhance peace, progress and democracy.
