No Youths Day celebration in Mogadishu without the authorization of Banadir region administration, says Minister

Mogadishu – (warsoor) – The Ministry of Sports and Youths of the federal government of Somalia has on Saturday given order that there will be no celebration of the Somalis Youths Day  on the 15th of May which can be held in Mogadishu without the full permission of Banadir region administration.

The Minister for Youths and Sports of the federal republic of Somalia honorable Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan Nuuh speaking to the Somali National News Agency has said that there should be no Youths Day celebration that can be held in Mogadishu without the authorization of Banadir region administration.

“There should be no Youths Day celebration which can be held in Mogadishu without the permission of Banadir region administration, they are responsible of the organizing the Youths Day and the securing of the venue where the event will be taking place” said Minister Mohamed Abdullahi.

The Minister has also urged whichever group is intending to organize the Youths Day celebration to contact Banadir region administration for authorization, and no mess of the vent will be accepted.

The Somalis always celebrate the 15th of May as the Youths Day, and this day is celebrated within and outside the country, this day is a historic day for the Somali people it was the day when the Somali Youths League was established.
